Local Ballot Issues
Information about or the text of local ballot issues that will appear on specific ballots for the November 18th Special Election. Your individual sample ballot with any local ballot issues will be available on Arkansas's Voter View website by late October 2025.
Voters will decide on an increase of 3 mills spanning 30 years. The increase will be used to build a new Arkadelphia High School.
Voters will decide on an increase of 6 mills. The increase will be used to fund construction of a new gym.
Voters will decide on an increase of 15.7 mills. The increase will be used to fund construction of a new Lee County K-12 school and major renovations to part of the current high school.
Citizen led Ballot Question for a permanent downtown entertainment district. The entertainment district was approved by the city council in April, but a citizen group asked voters to decide the question.
Includes the retirement and refunding of previous debt and constructing and equipping Pre-K facilities, including a saferoom for the district.
Extension of the 1% Sales and Use Tax Includes refunding the 2020 and 2024 bonds, budgeting of funds for fire and city administration complex improvements, budgeting of funds tied to fire improvement, budgeting of funds tied to street improvement, and budgeting of funds for police improvements
Six bond questions to be decided by voters. 1. Music Venue Bonds 2. Convention Center Bonds 3. Grand Theater Bonds 4. Lake Conway Boardwalk Bonds 5. Public Safety Capital Improvements Tax 6. Streets and Drainage Capital Improvements Tax
0.5% SALES AND USE TAX FOR JAIL AND LAW ENFORCEMENT PURPOSES Adoption of a 0.5% local sales and use tax within Marion County, the net collections of which remaining after deduction of the administrative charges of the State of Arkansas and required rebates, will be distributed only to the County and used for jail and law enforcement purposes. If approved, the levy of the tax will commence on April 1, 2026.

City of Greenland Annexation question. Area to be annexed into the City of Greenland, Arkansas: All of the unincorporated property in the following area: Section 17, the S1/4 of Section 8, the SW 1/4 of Section 9, and the West 1/4 Section 16, all in T15N R30W.
